KM Events has designed, planned and produced an extraordinary two-day destination wedding in Venice that celebrated the union of a couple from London and Dubai and guests from different parts of the world in 2023. This cross-cultural event, with 300 guests in attendance, took place at the JW Marriott Venice Resort & Spa and Miscericordia Valderice, chosen for their scenic beauty and cultural importance. These venues provided the perfect setting for the couple’s love story.
The wedding featured distinct themes for each day: red roses on the first day and pale pink roses on the second. These colors symbolized the couple’s relationship—red for passion and intensity, and pink for softness and joy—matching the bride’s attire. The floral arrangements, carefully curated to reflect the uniqueness of their love, transformed the venues into breathtaking displays of color and elegance, crafted by the renowned floral designer Tomas de Bruyne. Thousands of roses in shades of red and pink created an enchanting atmosphere that captivated all in attendance.
On both days of the wedding, the couple arrived to the venues in a breathtaking wedding gondola. While the transports of each guest occured via boats. The theme of the second day of the wedding was Venice. The guests were welcomed with Venice themed ceowd wearing Venice masks and costumes that created a magical atmosphere and unforgettable memories. One of the elements that contributed to the creation of the magical atmosphere was the orchestra that came from London. It added a wonderful touch to the Venice-themed wedding and the enchanting ambiance, leaving a strong impression on all the guests.
Planning this magnificent event took about a year and a half. KM Events collaborated with leading international figures, including Tomas de Bruyne, who meticulously crafted the floral designs, and Monica Balli, a prominent figure in Italy, as the local partner. The intense planning process resulted in a wedding that exceeded the couple’s dreams.
One of the most memorable aspects of the event for KM Events was the magical ambiance of Miscericordia Valderice, particularly the grand staircase connecting two distinct areas. A special surprise, organized by the bride’s family and KM Events, added to the excitement. When the couple finally saw the fully transformed venues, the bride was deeply touched by the stunning ambiance, making it one of the most cherished moments of the wedding.
