Description
Borgo Castelvecchi is a fully preserved medieval village in the Chianti hills, and that’s exactly its strongest card — you’re not booking a venue, you’re taking over an entire place with its own rhythm. Stone houses, a central square, vineyards in every direction… the setting feels lived-in, not curated for weddings.
What sets it apart is the “all-in-one village experience”. Guests stay scattered across the borgo in apartments and rooms, meet naturally in shared spaces, and the wedding unfolds across different corners of the estate rather than one fixed setup. Ceremony in a garden or chapel, aperitivo in the square, dinner under a pergola or in the hall – it feels like a sequence of moments across a small town.
It leans toward multi-day destination weddings rather than one-day events. Pool parties, wine tastings in historic cellars, long dinners – the focus shifts from production to time spent together. Compared to more polished villas, Castelvecchi feels less “styled” and more authentic, slightly raw Tuscany, which for many couples is exactly the point.
