Aquapetra stems from the restoration of a bygone hamlet dating back to 1858. Throughout its cobbled streets, in the quaint square, in the stone buildings the energy of an inhabited hub teeming with history and identity, and which come alive with new lives, buzzes. Spaces formerly used as the hamlet’s cellar and pantry now house a special place, made of stone vaults and large windows where Sannio’s gastronomic wealth is celebrated evening after evening. Within the kitchen of La Locanda del Borgo, Executive Chef Luciano Villani interprets the same philosophy that permeates every corner of Aquapetra: harmony, balance and creativity.
