At the foot of Vesuvius and a few steps from the Archaeological Park of Ancient Pompeii and the Sanctuary dedicated to the Blessed Virgin of the Holy Rosary stands the location, a lush oasis of peace and serenity. It is 5 minutes away from Pompeii centre and 35 minutes from Naples International Airport. Story
A History that comes from afar and has its roots in the early 1900s, when grandfather Raffaele discovered his passion for viticulture, walking among the rows of his property, in the Vesuvius vineyards, savouring the taste of the encounter with nature. A passion that led to the first experiments in winemaking, in the cellar of an 18th-century farmhouse, owned by the family, the remains of which are still clearly visible in the Pompeian estate of Bosco de’ Medici. There, a few steps from the ancient ruins of archaeological Pompeii, Raffaele and his lifelong partner, Emiddia, discovered how complex are the processes that lead to the birth of a wine. These were the years when Hotel Diana – in the center of Pompeii – and the riding school were founded, in what 3 decades later would become the Bosco de’ Medici estate. In 1996, the Winery was founded, and in 2014, the desire to honor Raffaele’s passion prompted his grandchildren, Emiddia, Sonia, Lella and Giuseppe to establish the Winery and begin production of wines under the Bosco de’ Medici brand. Today the Winery is the flagship of the corporate group, a place inspired by the passion for viticulture and wine, a place that, as grandfather Raffaele intended, recalls the noble “art” of Roman otium.

The Casale del Bosco De’ Medici dates back to the late 18th century. There are several locations for the wedding
ceremony and reception.
The Infinity Pergola – an area characterised by the presence of the typical Sorrento pergola, where the
chestnut poles are surrounded by vines which, intertwining, create a green environment of great charm, unique in the Mediterranean area.

The Winter Garden – a place bathed in sunlight and surrounded by plants that make it refined and wonderful, a small corner of indoor paradise.
The Casale of Bosco de Medici is also the municipal seat of the Municipality of Pompeii for the celebration of civil weddings, an added value that adds the touch of authenticity and meaning to the bride and groom’s special day.
On the wedding day, the farmyard in front of the casale is dedicated to welcoming guests, set up with sofas, seats and refreshment areas such as: the water cooler, the welcome aperitif with non-alcoholic cocktail and sparkling wine from the Bosco de’ Medici company , and delicacies from the Chef. Upon the arrival of the newlyweds, the guests will be seated in the pergola area, where the various corners of the apetizers will be arranged. However, finger foods will be served off the cuff. The pergola can seat approximately 200 people. The casale has multiple outdoor spaces and romantic gardens where you can make your dream come true. The areas intended for reception moments are: the area in front of the casale with its farmyard, the Infinity Pergola, the Large Square, the Waterfall, and the Winter Garden. Furthermore, the location also features lateral pergolas, rose gardens and an Italian garden: natural settings for capturing images using the beauty and diversity of the natural world as a backdrop for your photos.
