The culinary experience reflects this spirit beautifully. Fresh seafood, local ingredients, and vibrant Portuguese flavours define the cuisine. Meals become part of the celebration itself, always accompanied by stunning views and warm conversation. Even the island’s relationship with nature feels thoughtful and intentional. The gardens are carefully preserved, and sustainable practices are quietly integrated into daily life. At Reid’s Palace, for example, natural methods are used to protect the grounds, including the presence of a hawk that keeps the ecosystem balanced. These details reveal a
