Story

Château de Jalesnes, nestled in the scenic Loire Valley of France, was built in 1610 and has a rich history that includes notable figures such as knights and royals. Originally a lordship, the château underwent significant transformations, especially after the death of the Marquis de Jalesnes in 1642, which shifted its ownership.

Today, Château de Jalesnes serves as a premier wedding destination, combining historical elegance with modern amenities, ensuring that couples can create unforgettable memories in a truly enchanting setting.

The château can accommodate up to 65 guests in 17 unique suites across our one- to three-bedroom suites, each uniquely decorated with ensuite bathrooms and inviting living spaces. Accessible rooms are also available. For larger parties, we can arrange additional accommodation in charming hotels, gîtes, or alternative château stays in the local village of Vernantes -just minutes away - or in the nearby town of Saumur.
