For the first time, the rolling plains and golden light of Alentejo will host one of Portugal’s most prestigious events in the destination wedding industry – the 5th edition of Portugal in Love. From November 26 to 28, 2025, the international wedding forum will unfold at the Convento do Espinheiro, a magnificently restored 15th-century convent that embodies the timeless charm of this region.
Each year, Portugal in Love shines a spotlight on a different region of Portugal, inviting the global wedding community to experience its landscapes, venues, and hospitality. In 2025, all eyes turn to Alentejo – a region celebrated for its vineyards, olive groves, medieval towns, and understated luxury – as it takes center stage for the very first time.
The event will gather top wedding planners from around the world, including France, the UK, the USA, Italy, Mexico, India, and the UAE, for three days of inspiration, connection, and discovery. Through one-to-one business meetings, networking experiences, and curated lunches and dinners, attendees will explore the soul of Alentejo and its most exclusive venues, including Fita Preta and Octant Évora.

Organized by TNews and It’s All About, with the support of Visit Alentejo and the Alentejo and Ribatejo Regional Tourism Authority, this fifth edition is set to highlight the region’s evolution into one of Europe’s most desirable destinations for weddings and honeymoons.
