Tenuta Pinto has several spaces for weddings, which means the day can move from one part of the estate to another. You might start with a civil ceremony outside, continue with drinks in the gardens, sit down for a long dinner and then stay on for dancing. Couples can also hire the entire estate for a private wedding celebration.

Accommodation for family and friends

For guests travelling to Puglia, having accommodation on the property is a real advantage. Tenuta Pinto has seven suites, with space for around 21 people. Your closest family and friends can stay with you, making it possible to turn the wedding into a few days together rather than a single evening.

A setting that does most of the work

The setting also gives the wedding team plenty to work with. Stone buildings, gardens, olive trees and the surrounding countryside already create the atmosphere, while seasonal flowers grown on the estate can be used for the arrangements. The decoration can stay simple: flowers, candles, terracotta, local details and long tables outside in the evening.

The kitchen, led by Chef Giuseppe Pedone

Chef Giuseppe Pedone, Chiara’s husband, leads the kitchen at Tenuta Pinto. Much of what is served comes from the estate or from local producers, depending on the season. Vegetables and herbs from the garden, legumes, olives and the estate’s own olive oil all play an important role in the cooking.

For a wedding in Puglia, this is one of the details guests tend to remember. Food is served at the table, shared with friends and family, and built around the ingredients that are actually available at that time of year. Some of the recipes have a connection to the Pinto family too, including a dessert Chiara remembers from her childhood.

A certified organic, zero-waste estate

Tenuta Pinto is a certified organic farm and a Benefit Corporation. The estate uses solar energy, composts organic waste and works towards zero-waste catering, while the kitchen follows a seasonal, garden-to-table approach. The agricultural side of the property remains a real part of everyday life here.

The wedding weekend

That also gives couples plenty of options for the wedding weekend. A casual lunch can be arranged for guests arriving the day before. The pool and gardens give everyone somewhere to relax between events. The wedding itself can be spread across the estate, with different spaces used for the ceremony, drinks, dinner and party.

What’s next for Tenuta Pinto

The Pinto family is continuing to invest in the property, with plans for more accommodation, new dining spaces and further food and wine experiences. The aim is to create a place where guests can stay longer and experience more of the farm and the region.

What Chiara looks for in a venue

For Chiara, two questions are particularly important when couples are choosing a venue: does the venue grow its own food, and does it take care of its people and its land?

At Tenuta Pinto, both are easy to see.
