The international wedding industry is not short of events. There are conferences, exhibitions, networking evenings, buyer meetings, destination presentations and enough business cards exchanged to build a small decorative wall. The real question is different: how many of these meetings turn into useful understanding? B-TREAT 2026 by WEMA Global is built around that question.
Taking place in Puglia, Italy, from October 25 to 30, 2026, B-TREAT brings together international wedding planners, hospitality professionals, venues, hotels, wedding media representatives, luxury brands and selected industry suppliers. The format is intentionally curated. Around 100 participants will take part in the full experience, including planners from key markets such as the USA, Canada, the UK, the UAE, India, Germany and France. B-TREAT is not created to be the biggest room in the industry. It is created to be the right one.

Why Puglia works for this conversation
Puglia has become one of Italy’s most desired wedding destinations, but its strength is not only visual. Yes, there are masserie, olive groves, stone courtyards, warm light and dinners that almost market themselves. But for planners, beauty is only the starting point. A destination has to work in real life. Guest logistics, venue flow, hospitality standards, team mindset, multi-day event structure and local connections all matter. A place can look perfect online and still be difficult to sell confidently without direct experience. That is why B-TREAT places the destination at the center of the program. Participants will experience Puglia through selected host properties, site visits, meals, professional conversations and hospitality moments.
The 2026 edition will be hosted across several key venues: Tenuta Pinto as Official Host of B-TREAT, Cala Ponte a tribute portfolio hotel as Official Accomodation Partner, Masseria San Giovanni, Epoca Collection – as Gala Host, I Luoghi di Pitti – Masseria San Giovanni as host of WEMA Photo Creative Lab, and Masseria Spina as host of the B2B Lounge. Each host adds a different layer to the experience, showing how Puglia can support international weddings not only through atmosphere, but through structure, service and real destination potential.

Beyond standard networking
The wedding industry talks a lot about networking. In practice, it often means short introductions, polite smiles and people trying to remember who they met after three intense days and too much coffee. B-TREAT slows that rhythm down. The program includes a conference, grand opening, B2B meetings, gala dinner and destination immersion. This gives participants several chances to meet, reconnect and understand each other in different settings.
A conversation can start during a B2B meeting, continue at dinner and become more concrete during a venue visit. That is how trust usually forms in this industry: not through one perfect pitch, but through repeated contact and shared context. For planners, this means first-hand knowledge of Puglia and its hospitality landscape. For venues and hotels, it means direct access to professionals who influence where international weddings are planned. For sponsors and luxury brands, it means presence inside real industry moments rather than simple logo visibility.

The professional layer
The B-TREAT 2026 conference will focus on the future of wedding hospitality, with Puglia as the starting point for a wider discussion. International wedding clients now expect more than a beautiful venue. They look for emotional intelligence, clear communication, cultural awareness, flexibility and a strong sense of place. For hospitality brands, especially heritage and family-owned properties, this creates a serious question: how do you stay true to your identity while becoming easier for international planners to understand, trust and recommend? This is the kind of conversation B-TREAT is designed to open.Â
Another important part of the 2026 edition is WEMA Photo Creative Lab, taking place on October 27, 2026, at I Luoghi di Pitti – Masseria San Giovanni in Altamura. Created as a full wedding-day editorial environment, the Lab gives photographers a styled destination wedding scenario to interpret, while planners participate as guests inside the scene. The Puglia edition will follow an Old Money aesthetic, with warm light, white limestone, olive grove calm, minimalist florals, satin, pearls, muted champagne tones and antique gold details. For an industry that sells atmosphere, this visual layer matters. It connects destination knowledge with content, taste and professional storytelling.

Media partners and visibility beyond the event
B-TREAT 2026 is also supported by selected media partners who speak to the wedding industry, couples and destination wedding professionals across different markets. The main media partner is Lovenozze, the event is supported by Sposi Magazine, Weddings & Honeymoons, Zankyou Portugal and Wedding Venues Directory. Their role is not only to give the event visibility. It is to extend the conversation beyond the room: about Puglia as a wedding destination, about how hospitality brands work with planners, and about what kind of industry formats are becoming more relevant now. Because the market does not need more noise. It needs better access, better context and better conversations.
That is where B-TREAT 2026 finds its place.

Sincerely yours,
WVD team
