The Correale Museum is a House of Art in Sorrento since 1924. This historical Italy wedding venue can be fairly called a fascinating place of art weddings!

Location

The most beautiful provincial museum in Italy is located in the heart of the Land of the Sirens, Sorrento. It is 50 minutes away from Naples and Naples International Airport.

Story

Enter the heart of Sorrento to discover a place rich in history, the guardian of an invaluable heritage. The summer residence of the Correale family and its wonderful garden “Villa alla Rota” open the doors to lovers of beauty and refinement to offer a real journey through the centuries today: from archaeological finds to Sorrento marquetry, from the Neapolitan Mannerism school of art of the 1500s to the paintings of the Neapolitan artists of the “School of Posillipo”, from the invaluable historic furnishings to the prestigious porcelain of the 1700s.

Opened to the public in 1924, the museum has 24 exhibition rooms, spread across the four floors of the eighteenth-century residence, collecting great examples of figurative art between the fifteenth and nineteenth centuries.

Spaces

The symbolic or civil wedding ceremony can be carried out in the historic Hall of Mirrors, located on the first floor of the Correale Museum, or outdoors, among the scents and colours of the garden of the Villa della Rota, giving all the guests a taste of the magical atmosphere of the aristocratic celebrations of the past.

In this art Italy wedding venue your wedding guests will have the opportunity to freely visit the halls of the museum and to entertain themselves without time constraints, within the opening and closing times of the building. We will guarantee maximum tranquillity and confidentiality and, if necessary, will be able to guide you in organising the ceremony so that everything is perfect.

Hall of Mirrors: the sumptuous white and gold sitting room of the eighteenth-century villa full of consoles and mirrors.

Garden: the Museum Park represents one of Sorrento’s most beautiful and historically interesting green areas.

Continuing along the park avenue, you reach the Belvedere Terrace, where the sea suddenly bursts forth and you witness the splendid, once-in-a-lifetime scenery of the Gulf of Naples.
